in this picture it looks like our volunteer is helping out the little kid pick out a color so he can decorate his guitar. what we think needed to be done before was to have had the all the stations have the small materials like the colors out so it is easy to pick out from the bunch instead for putting things on the table when we started to build everything.
well week 6 is here and we finally had our event but a day before that happened the hosts (us) and the volunteers go in touch so we would know who got what station, like a station sign up, and when that was up we had a struggle with one of our volunteers who had said they had to leave early (which they didn't) so in the last minute we had gotten a back up volunteer to come and join us. during our event we had to finish early because we were running low on supplies and when that happened some people started to leave. but in the end when we had our group song we still had people stay into the end and we all had fun. so he day was a good and bad day for us because when we started we had so many people most of our supplies went fast and was hard to manage but we had gotten more people than we thought we would have had gotten because of late advertisement, and in the end we had people leave when we were still going but it was easier to manage with a smaller group. but in the end everyone had gotten to build one thing and had fun which made it all good for us. but something we need to get better at woyld have to be leading and getting peoples attention and or getting people to listen to us. Moment of the Week: In the guitar making station, describe the interactions between the station leader and the participants. What kind of work was needed to be done prior to the start of the event in order to produce an outcome such as the one shown in the photograph above?

Well week 5 was a good and bad week for us, we didn't get the poster put up until last minute which was very bad for us, so we are hoping it will still turn out good. In our one on one meeting with Randy we made some little changes to the session plan but got it completely done, which was good, we also went over supplies we need to get for our event . we also got to meet up to finish the poster, which we know should have finished up long time ago but whats done is done. something we really needed to change is to get things clear and get things done much sooner than we have had so far, but we have a couple days left until our event and hope it goes along some what smoothly.
Week 4 was rough, we had the one on one meeting with randy and really had to get things in gear to get hings done, but again like last week we couldn't meet up together because of scheduling, but we did get to Skype to get things done even though we couldn't meet up. we had to finish the poster and redo the session plan for the third time i think now but i think we got it don finally..we hope. I think something we really need to work on is scheduling because that seems to be one of the main problems during the project but we still make it work. only about a week in a half left and we hope we can get everything done and have a good event.
Week three, we had no time to meet up except for the one on one meeting with randy, but we separated certain parts of it so we can get more done faster. we had to finish up and put more detail into the session plan to make it 100% complete for the day, with a full layout of what will happen and when it will. we also had to update our poster with the logos of cedar cottage and other ones, we also have to add more info about why we want to do this project. something we need to work on is managing when we can meet up and making things work. but other than that we make a great team because we are good friends and good with working with each other.
Self Reflection Post: What went well this week? Are there any things that didn't go well? If yes, what can you do to prevent that from happening next time or what can you do to better the result? Week two week got together and work on our session plan, we spent quite a while on the plan and we still have to work on it and put more detail towards it.we started looking around for performers/volunteers and we have gotten two so far and still looking for more. we had a tight schedule this week but we made things workout and met up with each other.something we need to work on is putting much more detail into things to make it more clear for us and other people reading it. Moment of the Week:
Our first week went great. We had a few bumps with our schedules going together but we found time to work on our project. We had a one on one meeting with randy and we talked about what we need to do to improve our project and gave us more ideas for what we can do to improve it. We can prevent our schedule to be bumpy by planning ahead and figure out what are good times for us to meet up and keep working on our project together. But in the end we got things one and over with and are ready to keep moving forward onto our project.
