We were successful in persuading Mr. Land (Principle of Gladstone Secondary) in allowing us the usage of the dance studio for our project last week (week zero?). We were also able to receive permission to teach the children of the Selkirk's Out of School Care the cultures of dance. When I was doing these actions, I improved my socializing ability because of how I had to get out of my comfort zone and sell my project to Mr. Land and the leaders of Selkirk's Out of School Care. After we completed these two steps, we haven't done much after that because of our packed schedule of summer school and work. We finally came together and started discussing the procedures in completing the next steps on Wednesday night. After that, we had our week 1 one-on-one meeting with Randy and discussed our plans for the next steps, but it turns out that we haven't gotten much done during that pre-planning session on Wednesday night and that there were a lot of other things that we haven't completed yet. This is the end of this week 1 reflections. Farewell!
Garry's Reflection
This was the official start of our project; week one. It feels like we didn't do that much, because I was busy with work and he with summer school, I guess, compared to what we did last week, not a lot compares, eh? Anyways, it took until Wednesday night for our first action this week, a pre-planning session for our one-on-one (two-on-one?) with Randy. Not knowing what to expect, we didn't get a lot done, except for a date and time. For the actual meeting, it seems we'd checked all the boxes last week what everyone else was doing this week, so we just ended up learning about how to use Weebly, and were done. It's now evening of Thursday, and we've more or less finished the framework of the blog. In all, we've played with the lower limit this week, but seeing as how we've yet to figure out what stretches and dances we'll be teaching, we may not be done yet for the week. At any rate, we'll update our condition with our week 2 reflections. Bye for now!
