What went well this week? Are there any things that didn't go well? If yes, what can you do to prevent that from happening next time or what can you do to better the result?
After our meeting with Randy, we began to advertise, putting up posters at Trout Lake Community Centre and Kensington Library. When we asked the librarian for permission to use the library as a station, she thought it was a good idea, however, the library was closed on Mondays. As a result, we had to come up with a new challenge and change our session plan. We could have checked online for the library hours to make sure it was open and available, as well as asking the librarian for permission first, before setting it as a location and making a challenge based off the location. We walked to each place and timed ourselves, making sure that getting to the places is possible and can be achieved within a certain amount of time. As for prizes, we have not come up with any specific item or items yet, but we hope to find one soon. Also, we will try to finish gathering all the materials we need so we can start assembling clue packages and challenges. We have added more people to our Facebook volunteer group, and soon we would like to assign them to stations. We also posted the poster and link to sign up on poster, so hopefully more people will see the poster and sign up. We will continue promoting the event and recruiting more participants!!
