What went well this week? Are there any things that didn't go well? If yes, what can you do to prevent that from happening next time or what can you do to better the result?
We had another meeting with Randy this week. Because dates were set, we began discussing the next steps in planning our event - recruiting volunteers and creating the activities. Our posters were also tweaked to include a QR code which links the the Google Form sign up sheet. We brainstormed some places we could use for the race, using Google Maps to figure out a route. As for volunteers, we have people we will be asking, however, we need to know how many people are participating in the race, which leads to knowing how many stations we need, which in turn leads to how many volunteers we need to help with the stations. Despite this, we are still trying to find as many volunteers as we can - better safe than sorry!
