Week 5 was definitely not the best week for us. We were thrown off during our second program session when we found out that our original group was gone off to a field trip (Dragon Boating). It was a tough choice to decide whether to just improvise a completely different plan or move our session to a different day. Moving it to Thursday/Friday would have not been possible because the kids were all going to Playland on Thursday and Kavin has his final exam on Friday. We decided to just take what we had and improvise a quick, simple program plan that was all based on drama games. (No Scripts or continuation) It was honestly quite the challenge because we didn't emphasize enough rules at the beginning of our session. That led to us not having enough control over the participants, and man it was crazy. We should have realized that sooner but our neglectfulness in mentioning the rules had led us to a downfall of our session. Overall we can't say that it was a great week, but it was a good epiphany to note down about how we were reacting during those moments of intense pressure.and some changes that we will make so something like this does not happen again for our last session.
